Mokes took on the job of taking the V8 Super Car Drivers on their Parade Lap at the Bathurst 1000 in 2016.

The Mini was the featured marque at the Bathurst 1000 in 2016, 50 years from the historic win and filling of much of the top ten placings in 1967 by a fleet of Minis. While nearly 100 Minis were invited to commemorate the anniversary of the 1967 feat it was considered not practical to squeeze the V8 Supercar drivers into the back of them with little more that a glove sticking out the back window to wave at the crowd. Enter the Mokes, as a close relative of the Mini, the Mokes provided a more practical option to carry the drivers around the track for their parade lap on the Sunday morning.

Despite the millions of dollars worth of television equipment and technical persons at Bathurst the best coverage of the Drives parade available comes from Flag Marshall Paul Kelly up on top of the mountain using his phone as we all drove past.
