Moking Down Under - Tasmania March 2015

Deloraine Donkey or Moke

Do you need an excuse to visit Tasmania? Do you need an excuse to visit Tasmania in a Moke? Well look no further as you mark out early march 2015 in your calendar for your much needed Moke trip to the Apple Isle. With three days of Moke 'in things to do around Hobart on the Labor day long weekend,  with the preceding week traveling in a group across the top and down the west side of Australia's floating apple orchard and then if you haven't had enough you can stick around for more traveling afterwards, what more could you ask for? Well yes the wife might stay at home, but don't let that deter you if she doesn't. Details are just starting to take shape however you can keep up to date on the website.

Tamworth Moke RoundUp October 2014

Tamworth Moke Roundup 2014

It is on again over the last weekend in October, the 2014 Tamwortth Moke Roundup to be held where else but Tamworth, NSW, home of some little music festival and a big golden geetar. To be hosted by the guys that put the Hoe in to hoedown, locals Steve and Greg, who will be accompanied by the usual crowd of suspects for the event along with some new cowpokes who have yet to experience the occasion that really put Tamworth on the map. Bay in a Day in a Moke

A nice day in a Moke by the Bay

As part of my contribution to the Moke Owners Associations calendar of events is the annual Bay in a Day keeping as close to the waters of Port Phillip Bay as practical as we head down to Queenscliff this year for a drive in our Mokes. If you have a Moke and you would like to join in and be part of this annual Moke drive you can meet us on Beach Road, Port Melbourne near the entrance to Station Pier at 8:45am on Sunday the 5th of January 2014.

Lunch will be a BYO or take away affair somewhere east of Geelong and if you would like to meet up along the way then let me know to make arrangements, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Depending on the weather and who feels like coming along we have had years where 15-20 Mokes have been a part of the day so hopefully we get a good turn out for the first trip of 2014.
