US Hillclimb Moke

A specially bult Moke for US Hillclimb racing

Over the years pictures of a rather distinct looking Moke in the US pops up on various websites and forums and although it is obvious from the pictures it was involved in racing, not much else was known about the Moke until I made contact with the previous owners and have been able to piece together much of its early history.

The Rat - Qld Variiety Club Bash

An little wheel Moke passing a red car at Surfer Paradise raceway
The Rat was a regualr particpant in the Queensland Variety Club Bash for about three or fours year around 2008 to 2010 before being sold via carpoint in July 2011to a gent from South Africa who was living north of Brisbane at the time and I haven't come across it since. The modifications and hardware involved with this Moke is impressive however it did suffer from having to carry its own gear and drivers so suffered breaking trailiing arm in the early event(s). The owner contacted me in 2009 and we talked about mods that he made and adapted and had a much happier time with the Moke in the latter events.
