Voltage Regulator

This simple IC replaces the old bi-metalic regulator and provides a stable 10 volts for your fuel gauge. Not only is it more reliable, it also draws much less current and is far more accurate. Not that Moke fuel gauges are known for their accuracy - but this is a start!

Properly heat sinked it will provide 10 volts (+/- 0.1 volts) and outputs a maximum of 1 amp so you can run extra gauges from the one regulator. Both input and output are filtered by two capacitors for long life, and the whole unit is sealed with glue lined heatshrink tubing to protect against shorts, vibration, dust and water.

Very simple to install - wires are colour coded and simply plug into the existing harness with no modifications needed.
