After several years of restoring his Moke and surviving earthquakes and temporarily moving house, Martin is spending this IMD driving his Moke around Christchurch and hopes to drop in on the only other Moke Martin knows of in town, which unfortunately is undergoing some slow repairs and is off the road.

This is it!
The one day of the year that all Moke owners
around the world celebrate their Moke!
In the past there have been groups of up to
20 or more Mokes in one place !

Lets try to beat that record!

I need ALL of you to jump into your Moke and head to the Oval on the corner of Heidelberg Rd and Yarra Bend Rd (Known as the Fairfield Cricket Club Oval) and we'll start the ball rolling on a bit of a drive. We're not going on a mega cruise—its more of a get together and photo opportunity!
So—bring your own Moke, family, lunch, camera, drinks, etc and meet at 10.30am for International Moke Day—Melbourne 2013.

Now the rules with IMD is that if you CANNOT make it to the trip or any other pre-arranged or spontaneous MOA or Moke trip then you MUST sit in or sit on your Moke, take it for a drive, work on it, look at it, talk to it (?), take a picture of it or do SOMETHING to let your Moke know that it is special~!

IMD 2014 - Melbourne

International Moke Day for Melbourne will start off with a Brunch on the banks of the Yarra River at the BBQ's opposite the Botanical Gardens between Swan St Bridge and Morell Bridge. Starting around 9:30-10'ish to have a chat and gawk at the Mokes and cook up a some bits of pig and chooky, and if you let me know you are coming along I might even put some on for you. Once we are fed and ready there are couple of idea for a bit of drive to celebrate IMD 2014. 

IMD 2013 Perth

This year the local Mokes in Perth are being joined by the Mokes of MokeFest 2013 for a combined trip from Perth to the historic township of York for lunch and a look around.

Meeting point is the Midlands Shopping Centre on the Eastern Highway at 10:30am Sunday the 29th.

IMD 2013 - Belgium

No day trips planned this year for Belgium perhaps just an infomral drink or two at a local pub. Locals Weske and Anja are still recovering from their recent organising of International Mini Moke Meet.

IMD 2013 - Sweden

Plan is to go for a drive, visit some fun place, visit a Moke that is not running and then end with food or coffee somewhere in Uppsala.
