The three Austin 1800 utes belong to my father and were intended to be restored to make at least one more nice ute but time and motivation is not there after completing a full restoration so these are no longer required and hopefully will find a new home with someone who wants to put together a nice car.
The first rolling body stored inside is quite straight and reasonably rust free, mostly surface rust and was intended to be the base for the next restoration due to its condition. There is no engine or gearbox, minimal interior and the rear tailgate has damage and would need replacing.
The second is a complete and running 1800 and was in use around the property until the suspension dropped on one side and it was parked in the paddock. The body is very ordinary condition and the plan was to transfer the engine and other required bits over to the first body. The fibreglass canopy on the back is part of an ex-ambulance 1800(possibly Ballarat Airport), not this particular 1800 though, and little is known about this other than a small picture in a old brochure for body options for the 1800 utes.
The third body is a somewhat complete not going car that was being used for parts as the body is also pretty ordinary in places.
There are other parts, including engines and gearboxes, that could be included in the purchase. My father would like to keep some parts to support his own Ute like an engine, the cut up panels and a few suspension bags etc, but the rest will go.
