| Car was purchased by my father in 1996 minus engine and disks(the person he purchased off used them for his mini) we then installed a spare 1275 and disks that we had from a previous project. A couple of years later we installed a freshly rebuilt 1275 and the Metro 4 spot brakes with booster. I bought the Moke off my dad in 2006, since then I have replaced all wheel bearings had the seats retrimmed in a tan vinyl(the original was the denim but was too torn),had the ignition replaced with an electronic system, installed an electric fuel pump. Hopefully soon I will have all the barwork and wheels powdercoated and a new roof installled. Not sure on how much longer I can keep it as I have a newborn and as much as I would like to go family cruising its not going to happen. All up so far 14 years of trouble free motoring :) |
