G'day,
What a top spot! It is a shame about the little moke
though. Seems a shame to let it rot away like that. The shed
doesn't appear too dry. How far gone is it? Being by the salt
air its has probably taken its toll already. Those rims are off
a clubman GT, very rare in mini circles.

Hiya,

Smoken is right about the wheels being from a GT.

They are worth upwards of $300 in any condition - even the caps get a pretty penny.

I have a couple of sets, but if anyone wants to fetch these for me, I'll buy 'em!

cheers! jon

So how about a rescue mission?
The Island looks about 400m from the mainland so if we had a tinnie (boat)
some sort of floatation device and a few helpers I think it could be done.

Who owns it?

It is easy to retreve,

Just use truck inner tubes to float it across,

Hint, put carpet over tubes to pervent them from punturing

I dont see how that moke wouldn't be somewhat salvagable.
From the photo's you cant see any major cancer...

Would make a great movie to be played at the Moke Muster "Rescue from Goat Island" the story ofa team of brave adventurers that rescue a poor little Moke from the clutches of an evil pack of renegade goats.

i love a mission and have a few boats.... I feel a plan coming together.....

As for ownership I'd say it would go to the researcher or the discovery team :)

Looks like the DSE own it, and it comes under the control of the Gippsland Office, and
I just happen to sort of know someone who works there. I'll try and find out more ;)
