A few important things to let you know about MokeFest as people prepare for the festive season and more information is being added to the website as more things are booked and confirmed.


The Winner of the Promotional T-Shirt
The draw, actually a random number generator on the internet, has taken place for the Promotional MokeFest t-shirt available only to people that have registered for MokeFest, Nannette(Netty) from Tenterfield in NSW was the lucky winner and will be receiving her shirt shortly. Thank you to everyone who is already registered as it does make organising things that much easier..

MokeFest Flyers
I have a large pile of MokeFest flyers on my kitchen bench that I would rather people have to help me distribute to potential MokeFesters. Let me know how many you would like me to send to you if you have places where they can be seen. Auto shops, local notice boards, your favourite Mini/Moke parts supplier or maybe you work somewhere that has a front counter that the general public frequent. The more people that know about MokeFest the bigger the event will be.

Weekly Times Newspaper Promotion
To help promote MokeFest I have been in touch with the Weekly Times Features Editor and he is keen to do a story on one or more people that are attending MokeFest from regional areas. The idea is that I find a number of people who would like to feature in the story with their Moke, be it restored or under restoration, and I provide Weekly Times with the list of contact details for said people and they will make the choice of who gets featured most likely based around where they have photographers handy.

If you would like to be involved you need to be in a regional area and send me a short biography about you and your Moke and preferred contact details so I can pass them on to the Editor for selection. I will be providing them the information about MokeFest so you just have talk about your Moke and how excited, well I hope you are excited, about going to MokeFest 2009.

It is one of the few chances to get some publicity in the print media so I want to give it a good go. If you are interested please let me know asap.

More Information Required
Rod and Faye are preparing to contact you to get some more details about your attendance and who is coming along and some details about your Moke by way of a questionnaire. Don't be too concerned if you can't provide all the details requested at this stage, you may update your details later on, however please reply promptly to Road and Faye.

If you are intending to bring more than one Moke, please register with one form per Moke. Registration is on a per Moke basis, so list the people that will be attending with each Moke and try to avoid having the same names on each Moke.
