[FIRSTNAME]

With only Seven weeks to go until MokeFest the time is approaching to enter the final stages of taking orders for the merchandise and collecting the money to pay for the dinners and registrations etc. I expect for most people receiving this Newsletter you are either registered for MokeFest already, unfortunately not able to attend or planning to be there but just haven't managed to register your details with Rod and Faye.

It is for this last group of people that I am writing this email to encourage you to simply reply to this email and we will be in touch with you to get you registered. Although registrations will still be accepted into March as I haven't set a closing date, the ability to obtain Merchandise and dinner/meals tickets will be limited as I need to have numbers in weeks in advance in some cases.

If you would like to be removed from this email list then please use the Subscription option below.

More Details on the Website
I have been updating the website with details of the Merchandise available to be ordered before MokeFest and getting up more details about the various Days activities in the Programme/Schedule area. Still more work is required on Thursday/Friday/Saturday as a recent events at the Temora Aviation Museum now means the war birds are flying on Easter Saturday and it is worth a trip for those interested.

In general the Wednesday is full day tour while the rest of the days are a series of smaller tours of MokeFest period. There are plenty of free or nominal fee attractions including Wineries, Licorice Factory, Museums and for the rev heads I am working on a special deal with the local go-Kart track.

LSV Providing Free insurance Policy for a Year
Lumley Special Vehicles are making a big effort to support the hobby car movement and so far their support of the MOA and MokeFest has been very good by way of providing free Insurance Certificates for us to Raffle and raise much needed funds to support MokeFest. They also provide very competitive rates and I can recommend them personally so please see their website for more information. www.lsvinsurance.com.au

LINK Automotive Special Offer for MokeFest people.
MokeFest major supporter, Link Automotive is offering special MokeFest prices for people needing those last minute items for their Moke so please when shopping around, give Bryan a call on 03 9873 3874 and mention you are going to MokeFest. For all you who like to use the big online Moke/Mini stores you might be suprised at Links prices.

The Information Packs
As part of the last stages of MokeFest registration I will be sending everyone who is registered a newsletter shortly with three Info packs. The first is General Information about MokeFest and getting to Wagga and what to expect, the Second is the Merchandise catalogue and Order Form and the third is the Schedule of activities as it stands but will be subject to change during the week of MokeFest.

Confirmation of Registration
.
To double check that we have not missed anyone on this list who thinks they have registered all people who we believe are attending will receive a second email confirming your registration for MokeFest. If you do not receive that second email within a few minutes of this one and you believe you are registered then please contact me so I can sort it out.

If you are registered you can expect some more detailed emailings shortly.

Eye Candy.
For something a little different you can go to the Website and select Who is Where from the menu on the left. This will then show a sub menu called Visual Map that has 'pins' for almost everyone attending MokeFest. You can also upload a photo of your Moke to place on your Pin.

Expecting 100 Mokes.
If you are attending MokeFest expecting the numbers of Mokes we saw at the National Moke Muster in 2006 then you will be disappointed as various factors will keep MokeFest to be not too many more than 100 Mokes. Although there will be obvious similaritiites between the two, I am planing MokeFest to be different from Muster in many ways and with about a third of registrations are from people not at the Muster I expect it will have a fresh feel.

I look forward to seeing everyone who wants to be there at MokeFest 2009

Regards,
Terry Pollard
