International Moke Day kicks off in Canberra with a get together at Old Parliament House at 10.30 for some photos and a chat (and coffee) and then drive out to Cotter for a BBQ. If you are planning on attending and haven't yet contacted me please email me. Cheers Peter As you may know I have been 'volunteered' by Terry (of Moke.com.au fame) to organise activities for International Moke Day (21 September 2008) for the Canberra region. The idea behind IMD is to get as many Mokes and their owners on the road all over the world on the same day. I have arranged for notification of IMD in the Mini Club Newsletter so hopefully I will get some feedback through that avenue and we will get a good turnout. In the Newsletter I have suggested that we arrange to meet up somewhere for some photos then travel out to Cotter for a BBQ. However, I am open to suggestions for activities on the day so please put your mind to what you would like to do. I have already had a suggestion that we meet at Wakefield Park Raceway as they are running a Mini racing day.
Would you please let me know if you are likely to attend on the day, and if so, what your preferences are for the days actvities.
If you know of others with Mokes could you pass on this information to them.
