	Location of Identification Numbers For many reasons you should know where to find the identification numbers on your Moke and this short article helps you find them. Yse the numbers when talking to suppliers and don't forget to add the details to he AMR.

The Body Number, or sometime referred to as a VIN, is normally found on the radiator shroud and it should also appear on the ADR Compliance Plate or Manufacturers Plate on the earlier Mokes. The Prefixes are generally YJBABnR until around 1972, 018 xOBnMnn for the early 70s to 1977 and then AKPxx..... from 1977 to 1982

Engine number is found stamped on the block under the #1 spark plug , thats the one closest to the radiator. and generally has 99, 10, or 12 as the first two characters.
