Removable Front Grille
 The front grille section of the moke became removable around 1975-76 
It took the designers 11 or 12 years to make the front grille removable from the Moke to allow better access at the workings on the front of the motor, perhaps someone high enough up in the company had to work on a moke one day. Exactly when it came about is still a mystery with the best dates being a window of 1975 and 1976.
