Hi
Has anyone ever seen the KAD brake set up been used ?
like these...

are they any good or are you just paying for the looks ?
This is a 4 pod set up but they have them in 6 pod as well.

is this just overkill and a big waist of BIG $$$$ as they are about $1000 a set.

watta you think ?

of they are well worth the cash if you need them... one of the conversion boys on Ausmin has a starlet turbo clubby, 13x7" wheels, he was using 6 pot 7.5" or 7.9" discs, stopped on a dime

He has since moved to 10" wheels to improve handling.
I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way...so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness

Its the old law of diminishing returns. They'll stop a wee bit  better than standard 8.4"s but cost a lot more (with questionalble legality). The grip of the tyres on the road soon becomes the limiting factor. If I was doing it again on a standard or moderately warmed up car I'd just use 8.4s, even my metro 4 pots are overkill.

Just a question while the brakes subject is active,
