Moke Service Day, Launceston Tasmania
« on: July 19, 2010, 11:13:49 PM »
Is there any interest in having a service day at my place, Sunday September 12th

Would like to get this idea off the ground, as a semi regular event.  Help us all keep our Mokes out there and gradually get them all looking as good as we can manage.

Thinking having this first one a couple of weeks before IMD, that way if there are any little things that need doing a few hand should be able to knock them over or make a plan.  I also am starting to get a bit of a collection of bits and pieces here, just in case we need to replace any thing.

Any Moke any body welcome.

Lonny Moke, Tasmoken, Ali Cat, Pom and any other Tassie Mokers, don't forget
Service day at my place this Sunday.

And we won't be working on Morton, this Sunday is to get together and work on your Mokes.

Cheers

Dev

Well first service day has been and gone.
Tasmoken and Lonnie Moke, managed to make it into 77's den.  Not to much done to any Mokes but a couple of cups of coffee were drunk.  It was raining so the plan to wash Mokes ready for IMD, was going to be a waste of time.

Cheers

Good news; Lonnie Moke, Tasmoken and Alicat.

Just had Australia Post delivery, "The Lonnie Moke workshop, now has it's very own Do-nut Compression Tool.

So Pete you must be first cab off the rank, sing out when you are ready.

And who else is looking at fixing the droop in your front end.

And watch out Morton, you are on my list.

Cheers

Hi lonnie mokers,

Dont know if there are any insurance concerns etc. with this idea.

However got a call out from a mate - thought it might be a nice chance to get the mokes out for a jaunt, even it is just blockies around the dome.  Remember a similar thing with Moke owners in Vic and camp quality.

Is anyone keen?

Next Launceston service day is tomorrow.  Pete has booked in for a quick swap of some warn front Do Nuts, never had a go at this as yet so we should have some fun.  All practice for putting Morton back together.

Cheers

Your mean Nicko!

Not only are you mean Nicko but more of Morton is now driving around town.  We had some dramas with the soft ride do nuts that Pete had got, so his Lonnie Moke is now driving around with Mortons new do nuts,  So Morton is on the road, well a little bit of him is.

Dev

I'll let Pete tell the story
