Stolen moke in Joondalup???
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:00:46 AM »
Well it's been a while since I posted here, but last week I had a chat with someone who inspired me to post this... I arrived at work one evening last week and as I was parking I saw a gentleman staring with a funny look on his face. My first thought was "this guy is dodgy, i'm going to go park somewhere else" but he came over and said hi and asked me if my moke had been stolen last week! Of course it hadn't, but he went on to explain that earlier in the week he had seen a moke full of "teenagers" hooning around his culdesac doing handbrake turns and tearing up his and his neighbour's lawn!

He said that the way it was being driven meant that it was more than likely stolen so I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything.

The description he gave was white californian with a blue (denim coloured) hood..... Sounds like a valuable one!

Hi,

I haven't seen or been contacted about a Moke being stolen. If it was just joy riders who ditched it and it was found quickly then it is unlikely too many are aware of it. I generally get contacted when they get stolen and disappear.

Maybe it was just a case of Dad being away for the weekend  :)
