Pete,

Apparently Col Francis is Mr events for the SAMC nowadays, perhaps contact him and see if they have anything planned, if not then just organise something yourself.

Dave down at The Tunnels was all keen last year and there are a few more SA people around online at the moment so they should all be posting here or sending youa  PM to let you know they are interested.

Maybe an IMD past SA Mokin's collection in his new shed. :)

Either PM me for contact details or contact SA Moke Club.

The Mini Club SA are doing a BBQ Breakfast along the Bay to Birdwood route which the Moke club have been invited to as I believe that the previously arranged run has been cancelled. There may be an un-official run starting after the breakfast. I'll try and get the exact location details ASAP - (they're in the current MCSA magazine)

Hi all

verbatim from the mini club mag September 2010

2010 Bay to Birdwood run on Sunday 26/9, 9am start at north east road, houghton

We will gathering on north east road, Houghton. It's UBD map 86, reference F13, where there is a bend in the road. We will be half way along the bend on the south side. There is an area where you can pull off the road with a small grassed area to sit and watch the cars go by. if you need to leave early you could duck back down lower North East Road to avoid congestion. Longitude/latitude is -34.825518, 138.76609 (just in case you don't have a UBD)

It takes approximately 2 hours for all of the cars to pass by, and the club will be running a complimentary bacon and eggs for breakfast for all members (of mini club of SA), we'll have the bright yellow marquee there, so should be easy to find!

cheers
Dave

Any chance of a MUG map, lots of bends and grassy bits up that way. Does the road get closed on the up track for the Bto B.
How many Mokes going.

If you put the location (-34.825518, 138.76609) into google maps it comes up with the location, unsure how to copy the link sorry.
I dont believe the road is going to be closed...

yeah i will be going. i am taking Moke 71. it hasn't been out for over 12 months so see this as a good opportunity to go for a drive. if anyone lives south of adelaide would you like to meet up at castle plaza car park?
