Sus,

There was only one error as far as I could see, the link in the Forum Discussion was a bit whacked in that it had two links and the Melbounre one kept overriding the Geelong link. That is all fixed now.

Couldn't see any other issues, but i did reset the sites cahce so it might have refreshed a copy of the article for you.

Yep, that did the trick. All good.  Now all we need are the people.

Sus needs to drive around Geelong in his propellor hat with a loud-hailer.

Either all the Mokes will come, or they will think he is running in the election.  :D

Hi All,

After a chat with the Pattersons tonight we thought it would be a bit of fun to go up to Melbourne and crash the Docklands event and get some good numbers there. (Sus, we have come up with a Moke run the last Sunday of each month during the summer months so we can do the Bellarine then!)

I believe the Melbourne mob are meeting at Docklands at 10:15 so we want to be there with plenty of time up our sleeve.
For those around Geelong and the Coast we will meet at Mc Donalds at at Waurn Ponds for coffee at 8am departing at 8:30 sharp.
Will head up the ring road and pick up the pattersons at Lara on the way through and stop at the Werribee Servo on the Highway to pick up brett and anyone else who may be there.

From there, on to Docklands where we will all meet and the good lady folk can go and shop if they dont want to talk Moke.
Hopefully everyone from the Coastal regions can still make this run up the road as I think it will be a good day to be had by all!
At this stage we should have 8 Mokes heading up and hopefully more on the day!

Sounds good to me!  :)

I'm happy to meet at the servo or just park somewhere on the side of the Maltby Bypass and tag on.   But we can work out the details a little closer to the time.

Cheers,

Sus,

Can you try and get in contact with jimoke and what about mokemark that was on the Ocean Road run I think.
Spoke to another closet Moker that is not on the Forum today and he sounds pretty keen too.
Ive got three others on the coast to try and coax along, this should be good!!

Hi,

You can still have a local event for those that don't want to come up to Docklands.

Hi All,

Just in case you missed it,in the Melbourne IMD,Spice suggested that if for some slim chance your Moke drops oil..............bring a peice of carpet or a drop cloth of some type to catch the drips!!! Please try and remember and dont rely on Spice bringing a heap of carpet squares for everyone. :o

Mokes?  Leak?

(Better call Greenpeace in advance so they can save all the wildlife that becomes stuck in the oily carpets.  ;D )

The slight irony in that comment is the reason we ended up at Docklands last year is that during the first IMD we drove past Docklands and I saw the Sea Shepards(Greenpeace with attitude) ship parked there and thought how cool it would be to have the Mokes parked in front of it with all the people walking past.
