Hi,

I am doing some work on International Moke Day tonight if anybody has more events they would like to add or update.

Aslo I am looking for a person or two who would like to help with some of the IMD organising as i am pushed for time at the moment and not really getting as much time to promote it this year as i would have liked.

It is looking like we will have the most number of countries involved this year with a few internationals still to be contacted.

Terry

remembering I am housebound, for several weeks so very limited, please let me know anything I can do to help. We all so get so much out the stuff you do terry and its seems so little to give back when you ask for help.

Hi,

In general I am just needing some help promoting the event around the web so looking to build a up a reference list of sites where we can advertise IMD, Tamworth, Muster and any other activities we come up with. Online car mags or car event publications which can sometimes lead to more promotion in print. Unless someone sends me a link and asks me to look at someting i really don't surf around the web that much, so looking to also build up a list of decent Moke related websites and or clubs and see if we can get them inolved too. I got Sri Lanka involved last year just by noticing some mokes in the background of youTube clip.

I spend a bit of time just trying to encourage people to organise themselves to be part of the day and make the effort and for some of the bigger gathering just making sure people are organising themselves. Some new faces involved might have some better luck then me.

The Flamer from Canada, Alan M, has got a promo up on Mini Mania in the US but it might help to have other people promoting it around the other sites they visit.

More specifically i have taught a 'Wheat farmer' how to create content for the website so i am looking for people who would like to help out in similar ways and learn how to create content and so we can get some more interesting articles rather then my tired old same old. Someone to keep the IMD articles up to date would be an easy introduction.

And some drawing/photoshopping skills to come up with 'logo' for IMD that shows the countries involved.

Terry

Hi,

I am working on IMD things tonight and looking for the latest details for any events that i know about or don't know about so I can update the website and get a newsletter out to people.

Currently I have 24 events in 8 countries likely to happen.

The site looks great Terry,
Just wondering - are we able to use the SA Logo?
(with our own flag that is!) Got an idea!!

Weather looks good for all state EXCEPT Queensland.  The Sunshine state will be raining.
Sorry to tell you guys but pack your wet weather gear, you are going to get wet.

Hope we all have a great and safe day.

Well sort of........ I'm going to be doing a few laps of the backyard in my brakeless Moke (that means it has no brakes, not that it can't break  :P) so not real safe for me. I'm thinking though that I might try to get the handbrake operational IF I have time first.

Looking at Smoken's post, it seems possible that it may now be the only Moke that makes it to IMD Quirindi this year, so will have to make the effort.
