Well don't move it a day earlier or I will be too busy watching Collingwood win the grand final .....

Spudie,

No matter what day I select, I cant ever see it clashing with Collingwood winning a grand Final. :)

You must enjoy those old replays, do you have the complete set?

Hi,

Unless otherwise convinced this is a really bad day, International Moke Day 2010 will be held on Sunday the 26th September.

I believe it misses most footy finals, it is the same day as at least last year so maybe IMD will become the last Sunday in September each year and it gives people heading to Tamworth a date to aim for as a final outing before heading to the Moke Roundup

I choose not to make it the same weekend as the Moke Roundup as the idea behind IMD is to get to meet other Mokes near where you live and if a lot of us are all in Tamworth that kind of makes it difficult and defeats the purpose of IMD.

For those that want to have International Moke Weekend feel free as long as it is on the 25th and 26th of September and you send a picture of the Mokes attending on the Sunday. If you want to have International On Another Day Moke Day then go for it but it can't be a part of IMD as IMD is about trying to get as many Mokes involved on the same day.

I hope I have given everyone enough warning to plan things and it doesn't clash with too many things and there will be more information come with some ideas I have for improving the way we get people involved.

Thanks,
Terry

Good idea to leave the date the same each year I think Terry.

For those coming to Tamworth, a good chance to have a last minute local run to make sure everything's running smoothly.

Looks like I haven't done a good enough job of bringing it up at every opportunity if you don't know what Dev's talking about Darth  ::)

He's referring to the Moke Round Up to be held in Tamworth NSW October 2nd, 3rd & 4th.

I guess it's bad timing that you are leaving on 30/9 and coming back 28/10. On the other hand I'm assuming that you'll be in Brisbane/Gold Coast as usual and probably got a pretty full schedule which wouldn't allow for a quick trip to Tamworth a mere 600km from Brisbane  ::).

That said, if you can possibly manage it, you would of course be more than welcome. The only overseas Moker we have registered so far is a Taswegian  :D.

Not just my shin dig by any means, Appache certainly needs more than just a mention. I am the local man on the ground, but she and The Welder are putting a lot of time and effort into it too - possibly more than me (I haven't had to drive half way across the state for a weekend just to check it out). Also, the "Web Magic" is all hers (with Terry's assistance).

Others are beginning to have an input too. Terry of course with a lot of invaluable experience to tell us when we have less than brilliant ideas. Oh, and the country music cowboy donkey (moke) logo is thanks to Casper.
