Hi Terry,

Please edit the original post in this series of posts and delete my old email and contact details.

I'm hoping to organise a cruise for International Moke Day 2009 in Perth so if anyone is interested please contact me at info@moketours.com

Thanks,

Sam

I'm interested-Have you got a month(date )in mind?
Please don't make it October 24/25th -that's when we have organized the Mini 50th weekend in Perth.

Going back a little deeper in this post, someone said there were no dedicated Moke Clubs in Perth which isnt entirely true. There 4 Mini clubs and they do occaisionally have Moke days.

1. Mini Owners Club - $25 pa - http://www.miniownersclubwa.com/ - More social based Moking
2. Mini Car Club - $40pa for 4 drivers - http://www.minicarclubwa.1hwy.com/ - CAMS event based, Motorkhana's, Autokhana's etc
3. Rockingham (?) - http://www.sdminiclub.org.au/
4. Dont know the name, just that it exists!

Just need some minor paint/body work done and I'll be taking the beast out soon. Weather is on the mend so will have to delve into the garage and start-er-up.

:P

LS1380,

Are there any Mokes going on the 26th, or is it just for Minis?

Cheers, Maddog.

I could be mistaken here, but the President of SDMC is a Moke owner and as far as i know doesn't have a Mini. :) I am thinking of Bridget H.

Bridget is the prezzie of the Mini Owners Club, and they are planning another trip over East next year in there Mokes.(South Australia this time)

Maddog-I thing the 50th Mini Drive on the 26th is for a Mini Display only :'(  But you are more than welcome to attend the Mini/Leyland/BMC Day in October as part of the 50th Celebrations)

No worries Allan, I don't think I could have made it anyway being a Wednesday. But I did think it would be a good way to let people know about IMD.

I'll keep October in mind. ;)

Thanks, MD.

Maddog the Mini Owners Club are involved in something in Perth/Forrest Chase for the 50th apparently. If you keen then get in touch with Harold as he will have all the details.

They definately have a vast array of Mokes to show off :P ;D

phil_dawson and LS1380,

Thanks for the info and the welcome. Unfortunately it's always a bit of a hassle for me to get to Perth this time of year. But with all the different events on, I will certainly try to get to at least one - even if only as a spectator!

Cheers, Maddog.
