Hi Adrian,

That would have to be one of the most original mokes I have seen for a long time!! Very nice.

Thanks for the pics! (Now I know where the stickers in the engine bay should go!)

Is the back seat original?

Cheers, Maddog.

the back seat is 100% original but it needs recovering like the others (just looking for someone that will do it for a reasonable price!)... Basically the whole car is original and i plan on keeping it that way!! If we replace any parts we keep the originals (eg steering wheel).

we've sprayed the bars and once we do the body it should be looking real good...

it's the original 1275 too.

Nearly original, except it seems to have New Caledonian seatbelts  ;D

Seriously though, nice honest Moke. Show us some more pics as you tidy it up.

1974 galv moke

Just a quick question on whether you are sure it was/is a 1974 model.  I am no expert but there are three things that makes me question it.  I reckon it should be at least post 79, maybe 81 or something like that.  Reason being, Galvanised really started in 1979, for all production, removable grill was 76/77 or there about and side fill fuel tank was in the 80's.
Have you made some upgrades to a '74 or could it be a later model??

Cheers

Dev

Previous owner was obviously a keen West Coast fan. Are you leaving it like that.

Sure I've seen it before. Was the owner on here?

Hi Terry,

Please edit the original post in this series of posts and delete my old email and contact details.

I'm hoping to organise a cruise for International Moke Day 2009 in Perth so if anyone is interested please contact me at info@moketours.com

Thanks,

Sam

G'day,
Im in Perth WA, and was hoping you could point me in the right direction of finding a Moke club in WA?  Any ideas? Or known moke cruises?

thanks in advance

..............................................

Terry,
Your a legend, thankyou for letting me know there are no moke
clubs, Incase anyone else asks, I have started up an e-mailing list for WA
owners and may end up organising a cruise one day.

Each time i see a moke I leave a card on thier windshield asking to e-mail
to join the mailing list for free.....

Thanksm8

Cheers,
